Scheduling and basic customer service is another area where AI is expected to make significant advancements in home inspectors’ businesses―and across service businesses broadly. AI “personas” are currently being trained and tested as customer service professionals and are even being used to make outbound sales calls! The capabilities of AI for these phone service functions appear to be advancing incredibly rapidly. Many of the AI voices now sound nearly human and can be indistinguishable at times.
