Find information from FHA fast, including after hours and weekend sources at http://faq.fha.gov/.

 

There are over 1,000 questions and answers in the FHA online knowledge base, from very basic eligibility questions to technical underwriting and appraisal questions.  Over 80% of the questions posed to the FHA Resource Center are available at the website.    

 

Each article consists of:

Question/Answer 

Mortgagee Letter/Handbook References

Referral information

Links to Related Topics and Answers

Opt-in notification of policy change on each question/answer

Instant Feedback on Answer Effectiveness

     

Industry members can get full access to the knowledge base (all 1,000+ articles) by using the following instructions:

 

Basic access to the knowledge base is available to everyone (general public and members of the housing industry) by going to: http://faq.fha.gov/

In order for lenders and other members of the housing industry to access the full knowledge base, they will need to create an account. New users may create an account by clicking on the "My Stuff" tab and then select the "Create New Account" button. By completing the required information the new user will be able to see all of the public and industry knowledge base articles.

NOTE: New users must log-out and log-in again after the initial setup to view the full knowledge base. Log-in information and passwords are case sensitive.
